It's Qing: Simply Aesthetics | Crystal Jade SG50

Hi guys! Just a quick update! Went to Simply Aesthetics a while back for their signature glow zone laser therapy facial and forgot to blog about it oh dear :(

Honestly I won't say I have very good skin. My skin tone's been pretty uneven especially after I tanned quite a bit last month and it's acne prone in certain areas I'd say? So I was really relieved to get a facial during my bad skin period.

They're located at the newly refurbished Capitol Piazza WHICH IS GORGEOUS BTW but as a word of caution, don't park your car there. The parking fee is insane. Almost as bad as parking at Mount E.

I loved how pretty they did up the place! When I went there they were still under renovation cause the whole place was still so new :)

The staff were friendly and welcoming and the place was so cosy. I honestly thought these were real though HAHA I had to take one and sniff it when no one was looking.

The facial is done on these colour changing waterbeds. As if that's not awesome enough, THE WATERBEDS RADIATE HEAT HAHAH. So it's mofo comfortable like you're floating on a warm cloud.

I've never done any facials or laser treatments before cause I guess I'm kinda... lackadaisical when it comes to my skin/nails/hair or whatever so I was pretty apprehensive. I thought it was gonna hurt cause naturally laser facials have a down time or causes your skin to get irritable and peel.

Their laser light therapy has zero down time however, which I love, and it doesn't feel like anything. In fact it's so soothing and comfortable I fell asleep hahaha. The best part of the whole thing was that the results were instant. Their glow zone facial is meant to reduce any acne scarring and make your skin appear more youthful and dewy.

I don't know if you can tell from the photos but my skin was really dewy and after! haha ok this was clearly taken a whaleback when my hair was lighter but yea.

And one month after... my skin was still really glowy. HAHA I NEVER EDIT AH. Too lazy for that haha so yea.

Perks of my internship uh hahaha. ANYWAYS I KID YOU NOT THIS XIAO LONG BAO IS AMAZING. They have these new flavours in lieu with SG50 and they're meant to be local flavoured xiao long baos so there's chili crab xlb and hainanese chicken rice xlb.

The soup literally bursts into your mouth when you bite into it. There's no other way to put it. It's just the most delightful explosion of chili crab and chicken rice broth. Seriously one of the best things I've had this year cause they take two amazing things and put them together. You now get to eat chili crab without having the hassle of peeling everything.
